OCTOBER 25 – NOVEMBER 23, 2025 (Saturdays & Sundays) 10 CLASS SESSIONS OVER 5 WEEKS (40 HRS.) Includes Expert Deep-Dives: Intro to Motion Capture & Performance Capture Acting for Video Game “Cutscenes” & Gameplay Character Creation “On The Move”: Heroes & Villains, Creatures & Monsters Intro to CQB (Close Quarter Battle) Military Tactical Training (i.e. Call of Duty) Cinematics for Body Doubles & Voice-Over Recording Commercial Performance Capture on set Intro to the MoCap Industry Business ​Bonus: All students receive HD video of their scene for unlimited use in acting reels! In this 10-day, 40-hour crash course boutique workshop, actors learn to hit the ground running in a professional Motion Capture (MoCap) studio. Taking a deep dive under the direction of Hollywood pros JB Blanc (CALL OF DUTY, FORTNITE, MORTAL KOMBAT), Henry Layton (SAINTS ROW, PUNISHER), & America Young (BARBIE, BATGIRL, MONSTER HIGH), you’ll learn the essential techniques used for acting in video games and advanced CGI scenes for film and TV. Each student will suit up in cutting-edge optical motion capture gear, develop a digital character, and see it brought to life real-time inside virtual worlds powered by the industry-standard Unreal Engine.
